Your Path To Homeownership

  • Your home team will consist of your Realtor, your Lender & the American Pledge Foundation (AMPF). This team is designed to help you find and finance your home as well as face financial hardships.

  • American Pledge Foundation (AMPF) will guide you through pre-purchase orientation focusing on AMPF’s financial aid program.

  • On closing day, American Pledge Foundation (AMPF) works behind the scenes to build your financial aid safety net. These funds are then deposited into a hardship escrow account for the new homeowner.

  • American Pledge Foundation (AMPF) will provide post-purchase counseling and advocate for you for 5 years. AMPF homeowners are required to set up their own safety net account for unexpected hardships.

  • We help you keep your home by paying up to three mortgage payments directly to the lender from your hardship escrow account during qualifying hardships.

  • After 5 years, unused hardship escrow funds go to the next American Pledge Foundation (AMPF) homeowner. When you decide to sell, you agree to repay the financial aid used with no interest or fees to support future homeowners.
